Intergenerational Opportunities
If you are looking to connect with today’s local youth, we have opportunities! We are currently looking for volunteers at the Putting on the Glitz event March 18th, 2025, from PLEA Community Services and Kiwanis. This event is all about making prom affordable and fun for local teens. For this event we are looking for seniors that can volunteer on the day of the event to help teens shop the donations suits, dresses, accessories and more. Volunteers would help check participants in, and will be matched with tasks that best fit their interests. For more information contact the Seniors Network.
We will also be planning a Youth and Senior BBQ this summer, we will update as this event comes together!
